THE  STRANDING	This little Kemp's was driven part way to the KBSTRRC by  NMFS personnel, and was met by our volunteers who brought her in. There is no stranding report, weight or measures at this time. The turtle has some eye injuries but remains very active.
THE TREATMENT	Photos illustrate eye problems
	Comparison photos:  NMFS on left upon admission and a healthy DOS on right. Both are Kemp's Ridley's and close in size. Hematocrit 40 %
	Jean and Dr. Harms give Stacy an eye check-up.
Sept 2001	Final exam and blood tests give Stacy the green light, and the parting jewelry.
