| THE STRANDING | Bluff was rescued by fisherman
Richard Murgo. Richard saw the turtle caught in a flounder net in
Bluff Bay. He noticed a gash across the turtle's spine and
stopped fishing immediately. He called his Mom and asked her to
meet him at the dock, then they rushed the little Green to the Sea
Turtle Hospital. Richard has been commercial fishing since he was 12 years old and is a good steward of the environment.  |
| THE TREATMENT | Bluff is receiving the usual
round of antibiotics. The wound is dressed with triple antibiotic
ointment covered gauze and covered with Tegaderm, She is in shallow water.  |

 Bluff no longer needs her wound covered. She has a nice winter spot under the front windows. |
