| THE TREATMENT | Admitted August 6, 2002 with a recently missing flipper,
deep gash under the damaged flipper at the humerous bone, cuts across the
eye and nose, probable boat strike.
Brunswick was rescued by folks out shrimping who noticed this turtle drifting at the surface of the water. They pulled the turtle into their boat, called authorities and brought her to Hughes Marina at Shalotte Point. They were met by Ocean Isle Beach Turtle Patrol Volunteers who facilitated her delivery to the KBSTRRC. |
