THE STRANDING
Chestnut was found in New Jersey after swallowing a long line hook.
You can see the line trailing out of her mouth.
THE TREATMENT The hook is very deep.  Chestnut will be transported to the NC State School of Veterinary Medicine to have the hook removed.

The hook was sucessfully removed.

Chesnut is completely healed and ready to get out.  Oh, how long the winter!

Finally, a boat is ready to head to the warm gulf stream waters and Chestnut has a space reserved.
