| THE STRANDING | Circle swallowed a longline
hook and then became entangled in the line, nearly severing her
flipper. She then became entangled in a pound net making it very
difficult for her to breathe.  |
| THE TREATMENT | Dr. Craig Harms removed the
hook and disentangled the line around her flipper. State
