October hatchlings found the cold October 2000
weather to be quite stunning.
The cold-stunned hatchlings were gathered over
a period of days and then given a helping hand
out to the warm sea by the US Coast Guard.

Over 600 hatchlings emerged during a few nights
of record setting low temperatures.
