| THE STRANDING | Hope was found in a pound net,
weak and skinny. Too tired to pose for photos. |
| THE TREATMENT |

| MAY 2006 | Skinny turtles need fluids, food, vitamins
and great care. Like all of our skinnies, hope received the best
we could give her. She's bulked up and has a lot of energy.
Her skin has that healty glow and her carapace shines in the
light. We "hope" she can be released this summer.  |
