You define exactly who makes up your “family.
It might be the traditional mom/dad/kids/ family, with grandparents/aunts/uncles/cousins thrown in.
Or maybe there's a group of you at work,

or you're part of a gang who has been friends since grade school.

Print the
 OFFICIAL GIVING FORM.
Decide who's in your family, then put your game faces on and come up with some creative ways to get together your $1,000 donation for our building fund.
Your family name will appear on a plaque, which will be permanently displayed in our new facility. You can also make your donation anonymously.
Flipper hugs in advance.
230 Families raising $1000 will meet our funding goals!!
With your help we will succeed.

Release September 12. 2012

Founder and director Jean Beasley leads
the way as Lil Ray is released., along with Smee and Baker.

THANK YOU
Summer Visitors & Supporters!
We appreciate your interest in the life and well being of SEA TURTLES.
We are now closed for tours for the winter.

"Lauren" was tagged after nesting on North Topsail Beach, courtesy of Michael Coyne and seaturtle.org

UPDATE
We couldn't find her nest but it hatched October 6th!

Nesting turtle went over the dune and on to the road, we gave her a ride to the sand and then she did the rest.

Where does our plastic go?

Turtles eat it!  Ocracoke II was lucky to pass this.  Turtles can starve when they ingest plastic, feeling full without receiving any nutrients.

BALLOONS and TURTLES don't mix
Discarded balloons drift into the water
and are mistaken for food by sea turtles and other marine animals.
Shackleford III was lucky to be able to pass these ingested pieces of balloons.
A Special THANKS to our many visitors.
Your interest and support assures our success
Your tax deductible contributions are much appreciated
