Oakley was one of the first to be moved outside this
year, and into a larger tank. If turtles can show happiness, this
turtle was thrilled to be in more space and has spent a lot of time swimming
and diving. It is hoped with more room and improved health she will
begin to straighten out her neck. |

neck, thanks to a summer of physical therapy, however there might be some
difficulty with navigation and determining up from down.

Dr. Craig Harms attaches a cloth harness and rope tether so Oakley can
be retrieved when swim time is over. |

let Oakley use their pool while they waited in a smaller tank. |
