| THE STRANDING | Found at Ocean Isle Beach. Obey is an adult female, the size we see this time of year nesting on our beaches. Healthy, this turtle would probably weigh 300-375 pounds. |
| THE TREATMENT | Fluids were administered and the turtle
is initially kept in very shallow water, covered with wet towels. It can
be rough out there and Obey's flippers tell a story of a long life.
